Executive Administrator, Sharon Spaulding

In her second career, Dr. Sharon Spaulding has been with Westwood for four years following a 30 year career in academia as a professor of communication and administrator in higher education. She has a home in Cheviot, Ohio surrounded by wonderful neighbors and a Christian community of friends who make up her extended family.

The pride of her life is son Justin Barrett Biddle, an emerging scholar in the field of philosopy of science. Following post-doctoral work in Bielefeld, Germany, he recently returned to the states to take a faculty position  at Georgia Tech University. Mom is elated to have him back in the same country, if not the same state.

In 2002 Sharon established a 501 3c organization, Kidz Character Clubs of Amercia, Inc., to serve children ages 5-12 in community based programs.
