Student Ministry

Missions

Three trips and one summer later we are a changed people.

We had a blast as our Middle School Students went to Racine, OH, our High School Students to Washington D.C. and our Young Adults to Dulac, LA this past summer.

Westwood Student Ministry was able to take nine Middle School students to Racine, OH where we were able to work with a non-profit organization called "God's Net" and help serve the local appalachian community. We stocked food bags for delivery and cleaned out a drainage pipe, for a safer ministry environment.

Our next stop was Washington, D.C. with 25 High School students. We served the homeless right in our nation's capital, painted a bus for a local urban ministry and did some trail maintenance at a local park.

From Cincinnati we traveled with nine Young Adults to Dulac, LA where we were able to work with Volunteers in Mission and help refurbish an elderly couples home that had been damaged through the previous two hurricanes. It was a wonderful experience that challenged us both spiritually and physically.

Every summer we take three mission trips:

Middle School Mission Trip (Grades 7-8)
High School Mission Trip (Grades 9-12)
Young Adult Mission Trip (College Aged)

For more information on these trips, check them out in the Summer section.
