My Neighbor's Place

My Neighbor's Place is a community development organization located in Cincinnati's westside on Harrison Avenue dedicated to creating a community that welcomes and cares for all of our neighbors.

Through My Neighbor's Place, community churches have opportunity to work together to improve the spiritual, economic, and social quality of life for residents of our area.

The Closet, My Neighbor's Place

The Closet, a free store, offers free clothing and household items to anyone who needs them as an outward expression of God's unconditional love. Volunteers offer conversation, coffee and doughnuts during The Closet hours. The Closet is open on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. For those who wish to join with us at 9:20, a time of worship and fellowship is provided before the store opens.

The Food Pantry, My Neighbor's Place

The Food Pantry is able to offer emergency food assistance to families and individuals, enabling them to get by for two or three days. Over the past months, the Food Pantry has provided over 150 bags of groceries to neighborhood families who need assistance.

We are in need of more weekly donations. You may drop them off at the church, 3460 Epworth Avenue and place in the  Food Pantry Box, located in the hallway across from the office entry door. Or you can drop off groceries at My Neighbor's Place, 3150 Harrison Avenue, on Tuesdays from 9:30-noon and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon.

Our grocery list includes the following staples: spaghetti, sauce, appllesauce, corn, green beans, peas, mixed vegetables,  peanut butter, jelly, cereal, crackers, tuna, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, corn muffin mix, gelatin, and macaroni & cheese.

Open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays, families can use this service once a month as necessary.
