Welcome to Sunday school! All children, up to sixth grade, have an opportunity to learn more about Jesus and grow in faith through classes which occur during the 9:30am and the 11am Journey worship services.

Check-in

All children, ages 3 and older, must check-in at the Welcome Center on the Sanctuary Level. Visitors will receive a sticker and a receipt for the child. Every fall, each child must have a completed registration card. Once this is completed, children will have a folder which contains their own name tags and a pick-up cards. The responsible adult keeps the pick-up card in order to pick-up their child. Children will not be released without a pick up card or sticker receipt! Fifth and sixth graders are dismissed to the gym.

Children under the age of 3 will be checked in at their classrooms using a two part sticker system. A responsible adult must have the sticker to pick up the child!

New Covenant children have the same check-in procedure. However, their check-in station is located outside the doors of the chapel.

Sunday Mornings | 9:30am

Children, ages 3 and older, are invited to attend the beginning of worship. Following the Children's Moments, children are dismissed to their classes. Younger children may go directly to their class. Children are placed in classes according to their age/grade on September 1. The children's classrooms are as follows:

LOWER LEVEL
Nursery	Age 0-2
Star Room	Age 2
Bumblebee Room	Age 3-4
Frog Room	Age 5-Kindergarden

SANCTUARY LEVEL
God's Backyard A	Grades 1-2
God's Backyard B	Grades 3-4
Wesley Room (off the gym)	Grades 5-6

The pre-school children are taught using the Rock Solid curriculum from Cokesbury. For more information about this program, go to www.iamrocksolid.com. The older children are using the One Room School curriculum from Cokesbury. Both groups teach the Word of God through story, art and music.
