Children's Ministry

Club 56

Fifth and sixth grade students are different. They are not quite children, not quite teenagers. Therefore, they deserve a ministry of their own, a ministry that's more than just Sunday School.

From September to May, Club 56 meets twice a month to learn more about God through exciting, hands-on activities and to make a difference in the world through serving others. Meetings will take place on the second Sunday of the month from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and the fourth Saturday. Also, Club 56 will sponsor quarterly activities purely for fun (think swim party, laser tag, etc.). Students do not have to be a member of the church to participate.

This past year the children have played Laser Tag, served at My Neighbor's Place, celebrated Grandparents and learned about fear. Each year there is Destination Unknown when Club 56 takes a field trip to an undisclosed location for an adventure. All meetings start at the church, unless otherwise indicated.
