"Chimes" Newsletters

The Chimes newsletter has been a matter of interest since the day Mrs. James Gamble returned from the World's Fair in Chicago with the idea of filling the steeple with the radiant sound of bells. Naming each of the bells after an inspiring biblical person or leader, Mrs. Gamble envisioned the music of truth spreading throughout the community.

In the same spirit, the written Chimes was to spread the word among parishoners, rallying readers to be faithful in attending meetings of the church and staying in fellowship one with another. Though format has changed, the purpose remains the same, with members and friends of Westwood United Methodist Church still looking for their next issue of the Chimes.
